I am a PhD candidate in Financial Economics at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, and a member of the Accounting AI Lab at CMU. My research sits at the intersection of finance, accounting, and artificial intelligence, focusing on how modern computational tools can extract insight from financial data and improve decision-making.

Before Carnegie Mellon, I studied Mechanical Engineering at Boğaziçi University and completed graduate studies in finance and management in Europe — including programs at Nova School of Business and Economics and HEC Paris. My work reflects a multidisciplinary perspective that combines engineering thinking, economic theory, and data science.

Beyond academia, I am the founder of AI LiteracyYapay Zeka Okuryazarlığı — the world's first AI literacy organization. Founded in Turkey, it aims to spread awareness of the opportunities and risks that artificial intelligence brings, while equipping the next generation with the right tools to leverage this technology responsibly. We are actively seeking partners both domestically and internationally.

I am also currently writing a personal finance book titled Know Your Table, aimed at making financial knowledge accessible to everyone. Outside my academic and professional work, I am an avid traveler who has visited more than sixty-five countries, and I enjoy engineering projects, motorsports, and exploring the intersection of technology and everyday life.
